I am a life long photographer. I got my first camera for my eighth birthday and I never looked back. Okay so I gave up when I thought I just wasn't good enough, but that was a mistake. Very soon there was a new camera calling out to me as I walked by the local photography shop. That brief break gave my a renewed zest for the art of photography.
Then I wanted to buy every lens and every new gadget that came along. As soon as I get this new camera my photography will improve. It doesn't work that way. I witnessed photographers with next to no equipment producing better work that me. So I studied and practiced and practiced some more.
I have been published several times. Had a couple of one man exhibitions and won several rewards, including artistic nude of the year in one photography salon and peoples choice award. I have always been ready to try something different. A lot of the pictures here are from my days with film. I printed my own B&W, tried hand colouring, colour toning, push processing, polaroid transfers, and there I was waiting for the first 1MP camera to arrive. in 1998.
